Patchouli Essential Oil has a grounding and balancing effect on emotions as it is rich with Patchoulol, a highly grounding chemical component. 
Patchouli Essential Oil comes from the patchouli plant, Pogostemon cablin. The stems of the plant can reach up to two - three feet and have tiny flowers that are pink and white. The patchouli plant produces green leaves that are jagged along the edges. Patchouli Essential Oil is extracted from the leaves of the patchouli plant.
