Handcrafted from metal steel drums that were once used to transport oil or other goods, Haitian metal art is known worldwide.  All Gift of Hope metal art is hand *and foot* crafted by our artisan partner Jhonson and his team in the village of Croix-des-Bouquets.  The artisans often use their feet to hold the metal while their hands pound the design with hammer and nail.  The village where they work has fallen victim to Haiti's gang uprising.  Many days the artisans are unable to work or walk their streets.  These mountain designs were created during a tense season of feeling mountains of violence and fear closing in.  Please remember Jhonson, his family, and his team of artisans in your prayers as we declare together, “Mountains, MOVE”.
